Ijen Carter ( Kawah Ijen)

Ijen Carter is one of the tourist destination which has been well known by the foreign and local tourist. It is locate at Sempol village. Sempol subdistrict. It has the beatiful natural view. The carter is not active anymore. It's temperature is between 2 to 8 degree celcius and the carter area locates on the hight 2.386 meter above sea level (2.386 mdpl). It is decorated by the Edelweiss flower and the other plants, like the Casuarina Junghu (cemara gunung) etc. And the vatious animals, like jungle flowl (ayam hutan) and porcupine (landak) etc. the distance of this place about 74 Km from the town centre. There are some of fasilitas here such as : Hotel, camping ground, shelter and tourist information (TIC), small mosque etc.
